This workshop can be taught in approximately a two three to day session, depending on size, for school administrators and teachers to prepare them for reintegration back into our school systems. During the workshop, the participants will also be trained on how to introduce and teach a new and exciting program title "Conflicting Conversations" designed for students to learn verbal conflict resolution and develop a higher level of empathy for better relationships with everyone they communicate with.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Participants will learn how effective communications will lead to successful conflict resolution.
- Participants will understand the purpose of emotional regulation can lead to stronger relationships between individuals.
- The most successful conversations occur when participants can learn about the most basic human emotions and how they can be managed.
- Understand the impact of technology on the developing brain; how it hinders learning basic coping skills that are needed to resolve everyday problems.
- Participants will learn what skills can be applied and taught to assist them in learning to self-manage their emotions.
- Participants will learn a decision-making model that can assist everyone with better decision-making during difficult situations.
- Participants will learn better emotional regulation and self-control in any situation.
- Participants will learn techniques to overcome implicit bias and understand unconscious bias.
